The
Ma Foi Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) wing of Ma
Foi and has been extending
its community welfare programmes through Sornammal
Education Trust (SET) and Confederation of Indian
Organisations of Service & Advocacy (CIOSA).
Through the Trust, it has offered scholarships
to more than 1200 deserving students in Chennai
and Sivakasi districts apart from providing
career guidance training, and supporting through
a mentor. The Trust runs a School at Ayanavaram
providing education to more than 650 underprivileged
students and it also promotes micro-enterprises
through the Self Help Groups in Central Chennai.
The Foundation Supports CIOSA and helps its
members to come together as partners in change
and provides a community of practice that generates
opportunities, helps them share information,
knowledge and resources, where they can also
call upon each other for mutual support in moments
of crisis. |
