CIOSA serves as a facilitative platform where NGOs, companies and individuals with common social concerns come together for mutual learning, sharing and the collective espousal of social causes. Our programmes are aimed at providing visibility, connectivity and capacity to the NGOs working at the grass roots. CIOSA has emerged as a strong network of 200 NGOs, 200 individuals and 9 corporate houses in Chennai.

 

How CIOSA helps

 

• Capacity Building: Seminars, Training and workshops for NGOs, Volunteers and Corporate on various subjects.
• CIOSA Business Alliance: Building partnerships between business and non-profit organisations. 50 organisations have received support worth 50 lakhs through CIOSA Business Alliance. This Alliance has helped more than 2000 children get quality education.
• CIOSA voice: CIOSA members get to meet the press every month and express their opinions on current affairs.
• Research and Publications: CIOSA undertakes continuous research activities and brings out a magazine every quarter.
• CIOSA Young professionals Assistance Programme: member NGOs recruit professionals in their organisations sometimes, by sharing salary, to support CIOSA.

• Ma Foi Foundation also supports initiative of Tamil Maiyam and other activities of CIOSA.
