Joy Training Centre has been set up by the Foundation, to strengthen women groups and youth and enhance their employability and marketable skills. This Vocational Training Centre provides vocational, technical and professional skills including training in soft skills to women and the youth in their families.
Spread across 3500 sq feet the Joy Centre offers career-training programs, training in
EDP - Entrepreneurship Development Promotion, Communication Skills, enumeration training and Leadership Development.
Women are also trained as nurses, auto drivers, DTP operators and housekeepers.
Vocational training in tailoring, jute bag making, handicrafts, embroidery and packaging among others are also provided.
The women are provided with marketing support if they decide to try their hands at entrepreneurship. Loans are extended to women who want to start a business and marketing support is given to those who want to sell the products.
